STORY: Of the many metaphors Ostrovsky has applied to espionage, a children’s carousel may be the most unique. But as he stood in a California mall watching a carousel go up and down, and round and round, it reminded him of spying. There’s lots of activity and running around, but in the end, you always seem to wind up back where you started. The artist made a quick sketch of the carousel, including the clown’s face, and turned it into yet another statement about the game of spying.
