One day you’re ordered to London; the next day to Yemen. Or possibly, headquarters is unsure themselves what to do. Events change quickly, and agencies are prone to hidden agendas and politics. Is he being sent on a hopeless mission? Messages can also call for actions which are illegal. Such messages always bring concern. Finally, does the message even communicate what it intended? Did the writer mean one thing and the reader interpret another?
